F2 Development Academy
AAMSE would like to thank all of those who paticipated in the first Faculty and Facilitator Development Academy! And a special thanks goes to Dan Kelsey, MBA, MS, CAE, Kenneth Slaw, PhD, Laura Tiberi, CAE and Donald Wall for their hard work in creating and facilitating a succesful program.
| The Faculty and Facilitator Development Academy, or F² Development Academy, was created in 2011 by the Leadership Committee to provide unique participation opportunities for committee members and Leadership Academy alumni. The first program was held on March 30-31, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL. The 2011 F2 Development Academy focused on: |

- Refreshing the knowledge of the Leadership Academy and the Kouzes and Posner "Five Behaviors" model;
- Learning how to create an effective presentation and speak to groups;
- Reintroducing the LPI results and learning to consult individuals when they first receive their results;
- Familiarizing attendees with the roles and responsibilities of faculty and facilitators through specified breakout sessions;
- Understanding the key takeways of each Leadership Academy segment; and
- Gathering input on the final agenda for the 2011 Leadership Academy.
